I love teaching piano and have been doing it for over 30 years. I try to keep learning fun, up-beat and positive while teaching scales, theory, composition, note-reading and other important fundamentals. I provide several performing opportunities such as recitals, competitions, duet ensembles and so on. Many of these opportunities are sponsored through Desert Valley Music Teachers' Association of which I have been a member for over 30 years. I have served on the board of this great organization in various capacities for many years. I love the growth that I have seen in my students as well as in my teaching because of our participation in DVMTA.
