Richard Greer

Hello! I’m Richard and I have been teaching piano for many years. I was fortunate to study piano and theory with fine piano teachers in Southern California. I was later privileged to study organ with world-renowned organist and composer Richard Purvis. Later in my career, I received a teaching credential in general music at Rio Salado College and taught music in an elementary school. This broad training and experience have given me effective skills in teaching children, though I teach all ages. I have served as organist and choir accompanist at my church for many years. I also create music lesson plans that have been bought by teachers all over the world.

I’m excited to share with you the Accelerated Piano Program. This unique program offers two key advantages over traditional lessons: (1) Students learn their songs (or the bulk of their songs) at their lessons, resulting in easy and enjoyable practice at home. (2) Students progress faster through their books. This makes for happy students and happy parents.
