I have experience teaching violinists from age 3 to age 80, teaching them how to hold the bow to preparing them for college auditions. I received my B.M. in Violin Performance from Utah State University where I studied with Rebecca McFaul and the Fry Street Quartet. I have eight years of teaching experience, including as adjunct faculty at USU. I studied Suzuki pedagogy with Cathy Lee and Allen Lieb. As a violinist, I have performed with the Utah Festival Opera, the Logan Quintet, East Valley Millenial Choir and Orchestra, and the American Festival Choir.

I am passionate about teaching and the role of music in the world. Music can and should be fun as well as teaching you the vital skills of focus, resilience, and compassion.
