As a dedicated instructor, Jessica strives to encourage her students’ love for music and provide them with the knowledge, tools, and motivation necessary for musical growth and discovery. Her goal is to spread the joy of music to students of all ages, levels, and backgrounds by providing an encouraging environment and pushing them towards challenging yet attainable goals.

Mrs. Heidt has been playing the piano for sixteen years. She won the Prize Piano Competition, completed the Arizona Study Program, and received the Piano Accompanying Scholarship at NAU. Her collegiate studies included solo repertoire, accompanying, chamber music, theory, ear training, music history, composition, arranging, piano literature and pedagogy. Her well rounded education contributes greatly to her students' learning. She is an active arranger and composer, and enjoys growing as a musician herself while fostering musical growth in her own students.

Jessica appreciates the need for variety in musical education, and understands the importance of adapting lessons to each individual student in order to best meet their needs and interests. She produces a balanced atmosphere full of fun and games, as well as hard work and high expectations. Nothing brings Jessica more happiness than increasing her students’ love for piano and seeing them progress in their own musical journey.
