Hi! I am Hollie Lunt and I have loved teaching children to play the piano for over 25 years. I have also accompanied church and school choirs as well as instrumental and vocal soloists. I earned a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education with a music emphasis from NAU and a Masters degree in Curriculum & Instruction from American College of Education.
Being a member of the Desert Valley Teachers Association since 2003 has given me many opportunities for professional growth, continuing education, and leadership opportunities. I currently serve as the Vice President and was a past board member and chairman of our ensemble concerts. This benefits my students and allows them to participate in fun and educational events.
My goal as a teacher is to provide a well-rounded, quality music education to each of my students which includes history, science, foreign language, math and. I strive to encourage my students’ love for music and provide them with the knowledge, tools, and motivation necessary for musical growth and discovery. Music is my passion and I enjoy passing on my love of music to the next generation!
