Jennifer Foxx

Hi! I am Jennifer Foxx and I have been teaching for over 25 years and absolutely LOVE it! My mission as a teacher is to provide a quality music education to each of my students. When students learn from me, they are learning so much more than how to play the piano. After all, music is history, science, foreign language, math and art. I like to incorporate all those facets of music into my teaching.

In addition to teaching, I write a blog for piano teachers at MusicEducatorResources.com, and I create, develop and sell music educational resources and curriculum for music teachers and their students. My students reap this benefit for FREE! In addition, I have also been invited to teach seminars to piano instructors all over the world through various conferences.

I was a keynote speaker at the AZ Federation of Music Clubs State Conference in 2014. I have written articles for several magazines including Clavier Companion, The Piano Bench, and have reviewed publications for American Music Teacher. I am also a regular presenter at the Arizona State Music Teachers Association conference, and have been interviewed on multiple international podcasts and programs.

I am a member of the Arizona State Music Teachers Association (ASMTA), the Phoenix Music Teachers Association (PMTA), and the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA). Why does this matter to you? Because of my memberships, my students have opportunities to participate in exclusive association events they wouldn’t otherwise be eligible to join. PLUS it is important that your teacher continues their education. Being a member of these professional associations allows me the opportunity to do just that by attending conferences, classes and events each year. I have had the pleasure to serve in many leadership capacities in the local chapters over the years including serving as President in two different MTNA chapters.
