Ken Noble has taught private piano, organ and keyboard lessons for 35 years in the Mesa area and loves to teach.  He has recitals 4 times a year and encourages his students to participate in the annual Piano Ensemble in Mesa and Arizona Study Program evaluations at ASU in May.  He has substitute taught music K-12 in Mesa Public Schools since 1998.  He attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Education in 1970, and a Master of Music Degree in organ performance in 1972.  He studied organ with Dr. J. J. Keeler at BYU.  He also received a piano teaching certificate from the National Piano foundation after completing a course on how to teach the Robert Pace piano method in 1977.  he is an active member of the EVMTA (East Valley Music Teachers Association) and served as president from 1986-88.  He has performed and accompanied in countless concerts in the Phoenix metro area since 1976.  He has served as organist for Mesa First Christian Church since 1986 and is a member of the local American Guild of Organists.  In 1973-75 he served in the military as pianist and administrative officer for the 7th Army Soldiers Chorus stationed in Heidelberg, Germany, which traveled and performed extensively thruout Europe.  He and his wife Janice have 6 children and reside in Mesa.
